Barem Market Research and Consultancy founded in 1982 as the third marketing research company in Turkey. The establishment's mission was to provide a scientific and quality approach to marketing research.
From 1994 to 2009, Barem was a member of the world-leading ad-hoc research group Research International. Through this network, Barem was able to conduct global research projects. As a result, the provided local expertise is merged with the global one, creating an enormous increase in its intellectual capital.
In 2009 Research International decided to acquire another global network, TNS, leading Barem to be a part of WIN (Worldwide Independent Network of Market Research). Within this network, Barem would be able to provide innovative solutions, hence it has an ability to conduct research in more than 78 countries. The group is formed of the companies with high reputation in their own countries.
Barem's expertise in developing technologies for its clients provided to be approved by the Turkish Ministry of Science and Technology in 2017. With this aspect, Barem is the only Research & Development center in the marketing research industry in Turkey.
